    Most of my programs are being opened by one program and I can't seem to fix it.


    Yesterday, I set ".BLEND" files to always be opened with blender. When I turn the computer on this morning, suddenly most of my programs now show up with the blender logo and when I try to open them, blender always tries to execute the action. When I try to use the internet, it shows blender trying and failing to open the program and then bringing me back to my desktop. I tried resetting all the apps to default in the settings, but it hasn't done anything. I was only able to get on the internet because I deleted blender. I would then open a program, the "open with" box would show up, and then I'd have to go to the source file for the application and click on the source application. Can you help me out?

    Programs not working

    In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
    Are you able to follow them?
    In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.

    Must Have Programs and Links for Overclockers!

    The program is already in the list.
    Urlyin and ktr thanks for posting here but these programs are not for overclocking they are general programs.
    Please post them here it is a general software list.

    Program incompatibility.

    Hi Pratik,

    One possible factor why is your Mall Tycoon 3 screen is flashing after starting the game is that the component of the game is corrupted. To isolate compatibility issues with, here are steps on how to use Program Compatibility Troubleshooter.


    • Open Control Panel > All Control Items. You will see the Run programs made for previous versions of Windows, under Programs & Features.



    • Click on it to open the Windows Program Compatibility Troubleshooter.



    *You can also create a Program Compatibility Troubleshooter desktop shortcut.


    • Click Next or the Advanced option, if you don’t want things to be fixed automatically. Windows will try to detect programs you may be facing problems with.


    • Select the one you want and click Next.



    *The Troubleshooter will analyze and present a list of problems.


    • Click on Next to fix the problems.

    Update us if the issue persists.
