2 weeks ago I upgraded my Dell Precision 7530 to 128 GB (4 x 32 GB) of RAM and 6 TB ( 2 x 2TB NvMe SSD) of storage from 16 GB ( 2 x 8 GB) and 500 GB ( 1 x 500 GB SSD). I had a professional do it for my work computer. I use programs that on average take up to 25 - 30 GB of RAM so the update was needed. My company was very willing to pay to "max it out" even though 128 GB of RAM and all the storage is a bit unneccessary. The person doing the upgrades made it so no programs would start when I started my computer (ex: no Skype or Discord).

I was started getting BSOD a few days ago. It started once playing a game then it happened constantly where it would freeze and crash. So I followed these guidelines: https://helpdeskgeek.com/windows-10/how-to-fix-unexpected-store-exception-error-in-windows-10/ and eventually updated to Windows 10 2004. The update seemed to fix the constant crashing but if I load a very simple game (Dominions 5) then it would freeze and potentially crash with this error: CRITICAL_PROCESS_FAILED.

I have an IT guy looking at it but he is a bit stumped. He tried running Dell Diagnostics on my computer but it would crash 6 minutes into a 40 minute test. He says the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool comes up with no errors as does individual Dell diagnostic tests. Dell will not help him since I did not upgrade with Dell RAM. He says he thinks it as an issue with the RAM and that a stick may be faulty but he is having trouble figuring out which stick is faulty.

Do you think this is a RAM issue? I can return the RAM to Crucial for new ones under warranty but its too late to return them to Amazon. I've also read windows updates have been really shifty and it might be worth a clean install of windows.

Windows 10 constant data corruption SSD

If you are getting constant BSOD, that could be the reason for your DATA corruption. Your SSD seems to be the victim, not the culprit. It may be faulty, though. Its firmware may not be compatible with Windows 10. What I suggest is, you should resolve your
BSOD issue first. Then go on troubleshooting the other components.

What version of Windows 10 are you on ?

I keep getting 2 BSOD bugchecks

Hello, for the past 4 months i've been trying to fix 2 BSOD bugchecks but unfortunately i couldn't, the thing is that the BSOD happen rarely (sometimes it takes a month to get one) and the dump file doesn't
show what's the cause, i tried many ways to fix them but none has worked.

    The first bugcheck is: MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION

    The second bugcheck is: STORE_DATA_STRUCTURE_CORRUPTION

Dump files link: Dropbox - bsod - Simplify your life

The PC i bought is pre-built (i was really busy that time and didn't have have time to build my own PC), i didn't get any BSOD after i bought my PC for like 2 months, and the first time i got one it was 3 weeks
after i installed an additional 8GB ram. i always thought my RAM was the issue of the BSODS until i tried using each one of the RAMs, and yet a still got a BSOD even when only using the old ram / only using the new ram, so could it be that the issue is not
    related to the RAM?

    Other things i tried:

    • Doing Memtest86 (no errors on both RAMs)
    • Stress-testing my CPU and GPU (no BSODs occurred during the tests, also no overheating, the temps were fine)
    • Using Windows Reset feature
    • Updating BIOS
    • Updating drivers
    • Keeping my OS updated

    Things i haven't tried yet:

    • Fresh Windows 10 install
    • Use Safe Mode (i think i cannot try this because the BSODs are rare and can take like a month to occur, i don't think i can use the Safe Mode for a whole month)

    PC specs:

    • CPU: i5-9400F
    • Motherboard: GigaByte H310M H 2.0
    • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER
    • SSD: SPCC Solid State Disk (SSD)
    • HDD: 500GB HDD and a 1TB HDD
    • PSU: Don't remember the name of the brand really but the wattage is about 450w

I'm still not sure if the cause is the OS/drivers or the hardwares, it's most likely the hardwares, but i don't know which hardware that could be the cause, can you guys help me rule out parts that are not
the cause? can i rule out the GPU and RAMs? maybe CPU too? because stress-testing didn't cause any errors plus if it was the CPU being faulty the BSODs should happen more frequently (note that my CPU is not overclockable). Could it be the PSU? the brand of
my psu is almost unheard of (azzatek), could it be that their PSUs are faulty and that's the cause?

Do you guys suggest me to do a clean install first before trying anything like replacing parts? Do you have an idea why the BSODs tend to be rare?

How can i fix these two BSODs?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Constant BSOD

    Hello,

So I've been having BSOD issues on my PC for quite some time now, which I've been constantly working on it to find a fix. I'm going to give a timeline of my troubleshooting steps and changes I've made to try and eliminate the problem.

    System Specs:

    CPU - Ryzen 7 2700X

    RAM - 2X Gskill Trident Z Neo 32GB (2x16) 3600Mhz CL16 kits

Mobo - ASUS ROG STRIX X570-E

    GPU - MSI RX 570 4GB Gaming X

Drives - (Pre Aug.) WD Blue NVMe Boot drive, RAID 0 Seagate 2TB HDDs(2 Total HDDs)

Drives - (Aug.-Current) RAID 0 WD Blue NVMe Boot(2 Total SSDs), RAID 0 Seagate 2TB HDDs

    Others - Fenvi T919 Wifi/BT Card

    Timeline:

Purchased system and built around Feb.-Mar.

Noticed BSOD began occurring with the following errors:

    • SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (no description, FLTMGR.SYS, tcpip.sys, win32kbase.sys, Ntfs.sys)
    • KERNAL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE
    • PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (win32kfull.sys, ndis.sys)
    • SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (amdkmpfd.sys, dxgmms2.sys)
    • DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (amdkmpfd.sys, Netwtw08.sys, atikmdag.sys, afd.sys, netfilter21573.sys, Ndu.sys)
    • UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP
    • KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (wdiwifi.sys, no description)
    • IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
    • ATTEMPTED_EXECUTE_OF_NOEXECUTE_MEMORY
    • MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
    • DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION
    • CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED
    • UNEXPECTED_STORE_EXCEPTION
    • WIN32K_HANDLE_MANAGER
    • CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT

Due to all of these I began running Windows Memory Diagnostic Tests on my ram, and Memtest86, errors did come up, which I assumed it was the ram because they were open box/used/returned. I RMAed both kits, twice, I ran the tests with the new kits and got
errors also, which I then RMAed a second time, for my third set of kits.

I did have a dual boot system onto another Sata SSD, which was MacOS, this was 99% stable, with only one instance of a crash. I also began noticing my network was being bottlenecked.

Fast Forward to July, still having issues, and RMAs taking time, I decided to get the mobo checked out also since one DIMM slot would not allow for greater then 3200MHz. The board was replaced by ASUS.

Now into Early Aug., I got a new board, new ram, and still wont allow for 3600Mhz, even though its supported by everything, and I now have the ability to create the NVMe RAID I wanted, I do so, with a fresh install of windows 10.

So with my new install, I carefully installed drivers, constant restore points, recovery drive, and just full and cautious IT Technician attitude. I fixed the network bottleneck, which was super ridiculous WINDOWS 10! 250MBPS down to 5MBPS? Anyways, I was totally
fine the first day of install, with only one third party app installed, other then ASUS apps. Then the BSOD begin again!

    Error Codes so far:

    • SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (dxgmms2.sys)
    • ATTEMPTED_EXECUTE_OF_NOEXECUTE_MEMORY
    • KMODE_EXECPTION_NOT_HANDLED (ndis.sys)
    • CRITICAL_STRUCTURE_CORRUPTION
    • MEMORY_MANAGEMENT

I am totally lost as to where to begin anymore to fix this issue. So far the issues are: BSOD, and not allowed to get 3600MHz.

I am just here today for the BSOD and stability of Windows 10. I will look elsewhere for the 3600Mhz issue, since ASUS support cant get a straight answer. If anyone has any advice, it would be much appreciated!

I highly doubt I have just the luck for 6 Kits of Gskill memory to all be faulty, and 2 different motherboards to be faulty also. I am in contact with AMD for an RMA of the CPU but I really cant have downtime due to being a student.
