Windows 10: No Audio at my laptop. Ive tried everything and cant fix it.

i have laptop acer Aspire E 14. Last week i have update to windows 10. after i update to windows 10 there is no sound at my laptop. I did a diagnostics boot and finally opened it in repair mode somehow. . I've updated/ reinstalled the drivers and followed every guild I could find.

I even did a full back to factory specs restart. Nothing will work. Is there any way I can see if this is a motherboard or a port issue?

Audio device

I just finished updating my laptop because it told me too. When it was finished it had no audio, it says 'No audio output device is installed' I tried trouble shooting but it can't find anything. I tried the steps listed from a similar question and it
did nothing. I've tried multiple online tips and it didn't work. Ive tried updating the device, uninstalling it but nothing works. It's a Lenovo ideapad with Windows 10 if that helps. Please any ideas?

 

No audio device is installed (How to fix?)

Since you uninstalled the Intel Display audio and you no longer have audio, that suggests you are using HDMI (??) If this is the case then the Realtek is not being used and not causing your problem.

First step as mentioned is to reinstall the Intel Display Audio.

 

Audio Not Working after numerous fixes...

Hi there J, I will be your Independent Advisor for today, I hope we can both resolve your problem.

What I can suggest is DELETE completely all the Audio drivers listed in the device manager.

There should be a small box that you can tick to delete completely the Audio driver.

And make sure you remove all audio devices listed.

Here is how to do it

Here the steps to completely remove a Device off your computer.

Step 1. Use shortcut keys Win + X on Windows 10.

Step 2. Select Device Manager.

Step 3. Expand the entry. Right-click the problematic device and select Uninstall device.

Step 4. You may need to check the option Delete the driver software for this device, and then click the Uninstall button.

Step 5. Reboot the computer.
