Windows 10: PIN change from lock screen.

The HR gurus opted to set up a computer without the support guy and used a phone number and pin to set up the admin account.

They have forgotten the pin.


Easy enough, click forgot pin, log into the microsoft account i can do that, i could change that password, enter the code send to the number used, click yes, and then it should prompt me to change the pin.


It says something went wrong, retry. And in retry, says something went wrong.

I habe googled and googled and tried many things but a lot of things need an admin account.

Any help out there? Thank you.

Lock Screen keeps changing

Windows Spotlight picks the photos from Bing and displays them in the lock screen. I understand that you have set a picture and it is getting changed automatically.

I suggest you to follow the steps to select the Picture that you want to be displayed on the lock screen. Please follow the steps mentioned below to set a Picture to lock screen:

1. Press and hold Windows + I key on the keyboard to open settings.
   
2. Click on Personalization.
   
3. Click on Lock screen.
   
4. Click on the drop down under Background and select
   Picture.
   
5. Click on Browse and select the picture that you want to set.

unable to change the lock screen Wallpaper.

  What is the exact issue that you are facing?

  Are you facing issues while trying to change the lock screen Wallpaper?

  Are you not able to choose the directory where the wallpapers has been saved?
  

As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to restart the computer and check if you are able to successfully change the lock screen wallpaper.

  From Desktop, right click and select
  Personalize.
  
• 
  In Personalization window, click on
  Lock Screen in the left pane.
  
• 
  And choose wallpaper you would like to apply for the lock screen by choosing the browse option.
  
• 
  Close the Personalization window.

Pin lock screen background

Hi! I'm trying to change the background of the lock screen on my surface pro 3 with windows 10. I can easily change the background of the normal lock screen, the one that can we swiped up. But I'd like to change the lock screen where I have to enter my pin
or password: I haven't been able to find an option to set it. It keeps showing the dark blue image with blue windows logo on the right. Any suggestion?
