Another question when working in file explorer

I use 2 Seagate Expansion Portable Drives which are plugged in to 2 USB sockets on the face of my tower. Ever since I installed them, all I would see when looking at the Navigation Pane in File Explorer, was 4 sets of drive data, each of 2 sets showing identical details. One icon, G drive, showed in 2 separate positions on the Nav. Pane screen, one icon close to the left edge with the other, also G, was positioned a little indented to the right. Not sure why the different positions. The other icon, H drive, (containing different data), was positioned further down the Pane in similar left & right positions.

What is most annoying/frustrating is that G is duplicated as is H. The internal hard drives, C, D & E are not duplicated.

Because of G and H being duplicated, I want to get rid of the duplications. How can I do this? I would be very grateful for any/all suggestions please.

One final point ... yesterday, I spent a large part of the day reading a lot of the "How to's..." in your Tutorial section of the Forum which I bookmarked for future use. Really excellent. Thank you Shawn, it will be a great benefit to the Forum ... and to me *Smile.

    :)

  2. File Explorer Search Not Working

I am trying to search in File Explorer (Windows Explorer, My Computer) and it will not find anything. I can copy text from a name in the list and paste it in the search box and it still finds nothing. I have looked at the suggestions that have been posted and nothing I find that is relative to this works. Anyone have any suggestions? I am running Win 10 Pro on an I3 coustom desktop computer.
