Windows 10: Task Bar--Add printer icon

Discus and support Task Bar--Add printer icon in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; I have googled. I have watched video's. I have followed instructions. They don't work.     Task Bar--Add printer icon


    I have googled. I have watched video's. I have followed instructions. They don't work.

    I want to add the printer icon to my task bar as I have issues with print jobs. I need to quickly cancel those jobs.

    I have been unable to figure out how to add the printer icon to the task bar so I can very fast stop the jobs.


    How do I do this?

    No home icon , no printer icon. also other icons such as address bar in Windows 10

    I appreciate if you could answer few questions to narrow down the issue and to provide you better assistance.

    • Are you referring to home icon and printer icon in Microsoft Edge or File explorer?
    • Are you referring Address bar in Windows File Explorer or any other app/program?
    For getting Printer icon, I suggest you to try running Printer troubleshooter and check if it fixes the issue. To do so kindly follow the below given steps:

    • Type troubleshooting in the search bar.
    • Select Troubleshooting.
    • Select View all on the top left corner.
    • Click on Printer.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.
    • Check if issue persists.

    I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps:

    If the icon is hidden from the task bar, you can enable it by using the following steps. The icon might be hidden. Here's how to show the battery icon:

    • Right-click an empty area on the taskbar, and then click
      Properties.
    • Under Notification area, click
      Customize.
    • In Notification Area Icons, click on Select
      which icons appear on Taskbar.
    • On in the drop-down list next to
      Power, and then click OK.
    If the issue still persists you can try Updating the latest Power management driver software for Windows 10 from the manufacturer website.
