    Fixed DPC Watchdog Violation After Oct 13th Update..


    Hi updated the recent Oct 13th Windows Update on the 14th. On the 17th got a BSOD with DPC Watchdog Violation and when computer restarted many apps weren't working. Long story short after hours of running disk checks, had to restore back to just before the update. Everything now fine for past 2 days. I'm reading there are issues with the newest update so pausing and further updates. To be safe updated bios and made sure graphics card firmware updated.


    In an effort to avoid this hours long drain was wondering if anyone has input on anything else I can do to prevent?

    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
    • Have you tried the troubleshooting steps on this
      link       that was provided by Billion Debbarma on September 19, 2015 and see if you will still encounter the same issue?
