Windows 10: 0xc0000005 exception code with CTD while starting MS Flight sim failing module d3d11.dll

getting consistent CTD attempting to start MS Flight SIM 2020.

Recently I have been getting multiple crashes caused by d3d11.dll and I have no idea how to fix the problem. Here is an example of one of the crash logs:
