Windows 10: How to remove this defaultuser0 from logon screen

Hello,
On the first start of a brand new MS Surface Pro3, goes through the Windows Welcome configuration then restart.
On the logon screen I got 2 users : mine and defaultuser0 (see image enclosed).

Is there a way to remove this defaultuser0 (at least from the logon screen) without damaging Windows 10?

I realize that it must be difficult for you when things are not working as it should. Sorry to know that you are facing this issue. I will try to help you with this issue.

I suggest you to follow these steps to remove the user account from your computer and check if that helps.

• 
  Press “Windows key + R” and type “netplwiz” press Enter.
  
• 
  Select the user account (defaultuser0), click the remove button.
  

Follow the on-screen directions to complete the process. Once this is done restart the pc for the changes to take place.

Defaultuser0 tries to logon on boot

Dear all,

I initially had activation problem which I sent a post here asking for help.

After following a link offered by Microsoft to apply the "oobe/msoobe /a"
which I foolishly did I was forced in to initial Windows 10 setup procedure. I aborted this since it was already a week after I had upgraded successfully with all my apps etc.

Upon reboot I was only logged in to the so-called Defaultuser0 account to setup my Microsoft account which I did and rebooted the laptop. since then upon startup/reboot (NOT sign off) I get the Defaultuser0 appearing to logon with but I
can switch user and then use my usual Outlook account and login successfully and all is fine.

I have searched everywhere and I can't find out how to get rid of this Defaultuser0 account which places itself on top of existing account and is always the first account to login with. By the way I have no idea what the password for this account is and
under the computer management/Local Users and Groups/Users there is no such account anyway.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Is it safe to remove the defaultuser0 account in the Audit Mode?

I am working with Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB.

I have to prepare customized Windows with the unattended installation.

Everything works fine, but after I deploy the system I can see there is defaultuser0 account. I heard it is okay and it should disappear after a few logons. But it does not.

Is it safe to remove the defaultuser0 account in the Audit Mode?
