  1. Don't have access to WindowsApps folder and cant delete it.

I've downloaded a lot of games onto my external hard drive about 600GB from the Windows Store. I later reset my PC because I wanted to have a clean install of Windows. Now I can't access the windows apps folder that was made before the reset because it thinks it is from another computer. I can't delete the folder or change it in any way. This is a problem because I can't install games onto my external hard drive. My main hard drive is a 500GB SSD and I don't have enough space. I can't format my external hard drive because its a 2 TB hard drive that 80% full. I would lose years of data. How can I fix this so I can download Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020?

    :)

WindowsApps folder says permissions are corrupted and need to be deleted, is this normal or critical?

According to your description, I suggest you try the following steps:

    1. Navigate to the location C:\Program Files.
    2. Right-click on the WindowsApps folder, and select Properties.
    3. Turn to Security tab and click on Advanced.
    4. Click on Change and then type Users in Enter the object name to select area.
    5. Click on OK, then click Apply > OK. You can also add the TrustedInstaller to the users list and check if it takes effect.

However, you might be still not able to access the files. The workaround is to go inside the C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\, and repeat the same way with the Microsoft.WindowsStore* folders.
