Windows 10: Is System Partition gone or corrupted?

I recently followed the prompt of the laptop manufacture's "Lenovo Vantage" program to update drivers and bios, and then entered the bluescreen screen of death BSOD situation, as reported in this article:

Since I am using IdeaPad instead of ThinkPad, the suggested fix did not work on my laptop to recover my system. I then found a few other reported incidents like this on different models: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Enterprise-Client-Management/T490-Boot-Issues/m-p/5016346?page=4, reported by IT specialists of organizations which purchased many Lenovo Laptops. Their diagnose is that the BIOS update corrected the system partition.


Before this step, I have tried Windows Recovery Environment, Windows Preinstalled Environment, and Windows Installation Media. All led to BSOD including "SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED"


I am not an IT expert nor programmer, but after weeks of searching, I finally found a efi shell utility tool to look at my disk partition, here is what I found: There are only EFI System, Microsoft Reserved, and Microsoft Data partition. I wanted to ask if the System partition is really missing or corrupted here?

Programs not working

In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
Are you able to follow them?
In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.

 

W7 Hard drive partition issue

to get rid of that 100 meg windows partition that setup creates for you on a new install on a blank hdd:

- press shift+f10 when on the partition management screen in setup <-- this opens a command prompt
- diskpart <-- start the windows command line partition management tool
- list disk <--- list the installed hdds in this computer for the next step
- select disk 0 <- might have to replace 0 with the number of the correct disk
- clean <-- this will erase all data on the disk you selected one step up- dont use the wrong disk!
- create partition primary <- creates a primary partition taking up all space on the drive, adjust the command if necessary
- exit, exit to exit diskpart and the command prompt
- click refresh in partition manager and select your newly created partition and install to that

 

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.
