Windows 10: Unwanted dimming display bug

Hi all,


Recently, when opening a pdf file using MS edge, my display bugs out until I move the cursor: Over 10 seconds, the screen brightness goes down, the saturation goes up, and contract as well it seems, kind of what you'd expect a deep fried meme to look like.

My next steps will be to find a way to connect an external display and see if the problem persists, but until then, shoot your ideas !

display dimming

There's a possibility that this issue is due to the Display settings of your device. For us to isolate your concern, we'd like to ask a few questions:

• Is it only happening when you connect your device to Windows 10?
• If it's not connected, have you noticed certain activities wherein the screen dims automatically?
• Have you tried using a different HDMI cable?
• What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

2600 display dims

Apparently the 2600 display dims after 15 secs and annoyingly cannot be changed. Can anybody suggest what button to press so I get the display back up but not disturb what's on screen? Thanks

 

Screen Display Dim

Since I updated to the new windows 10 version, my display is quite dim. I go into settings to adjust it and it will not let me. The brightness is at full and the screen is at about 20%.

Suggestions to fix?
