    I want to reset my pc but now all I get is “Automatic Repair couldn’t repair your PC”


    I tried to reset my pc it kept failing saying it could not reset my PC. I tried booting to windows install media and installed that way but now I just get Automatic Repair couldn’t repair your PC.


    It also says my logfile is in the D: when I only have a C: drive.

    Startup repair couldn''t repair my pc BSOD error code 0xc0000221

    I am getting a BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death) Startup repair couldn't repair my pc and when I tried to reset the pc wont repair the problems used all the troubleshooting tools which didn't work. Won't let me boot into safe mode. After I go though all the steps i get the screen Recovery Your PC/Device needs to be repaired. The header checksum for this file doesn't match the computed checksum Error code 0xc0000221. You will need recovery tools. If you don't have any installation media (like a disk or or USB device) contact your administrator (which is me). I downloaded a windows 10 iso file on a dvd. How would I be able to repair this? Could I boot into dvd and reinstall windows 10 with keeping my files, or use recovery tools?

    Repair, reset and diagnosing laptop all failing.

    ASUS Laptop A52F, about 8 years old now. Windows 10.

    Starts on blue screen only with preparing automatic repair. everything I have tried fails with following messages.

    Couldn't repair PC.

    There was a problem resetting.

    Start up repair couldn;t open PC.

    Also tried using recovery discs.

    Any help or guidance would be much appreciated.

    Automatic repair couldnt repair your PC

    1- I dont know what is booting from windows exactly, but i can run the window10 setup from the DVD and i can enter the boot menu that i posted picture about it

    2- the issue is the message in the first page main topic " Repair pc couldnt repair ur pc" or " Automatic repair couldnt .."

    I tried Method 2 from Ruth suggestions and typed :

    chkdsk /f /r X:C

    it says : The drive, the path, or the file name is not valid

    C is my drive letter

    And when i try "Reset this PC" option it says : The drive where Windows is installed is locked. Unlock the drive and try again
