    Stretching monitor display

I am wondering if there is anyway to stretch my display of my monitor out. I have tried every resolution setting and that just changes the aspect ratio. Is there any possible way to just kind of stretch my display out a bit?

    :)

  2. Windows 10 Display Stretched

The display is stretched on my Acer Aspire AX1800-E9102. Tried changing display settings, but didn't work. The monitor is listed as Generic PnP Display. Also, I cannot access the NVIDIA Control Panel. No matter where I click it, nothing happens. Please
help- Windows 10 has been a great experience ruined by this display problem. Tried updating drivers, but they're all up to date. What do I do?

    4870x2 won't display at 1680x1050 at all!

OK. Now I know what ur problem is. Step by step:
    1. Go to Catalyst Control Center
    2. Click on the word "Graphic" right on top left corner. It will display drop down menu
    3. Click on Display monitor and will see the list of monitor at near bottom
    4. Right Click the monitor and select "Configure". It will show up the window
    5. There will be 3 option to select. Select the middle one and then click on the tab which show the bar with 15%.
    6. Drag the bar to max, and the screen will stretch to the native resolution 1680x1050.
    7. Also click the tab with showing RGB drop down list and select the last one (it will change to image quality for pc).
    That's it. Good Luck.

  4. Stretching monitor display

    display stretched after windows update

    Hello,

Thank you for visiting Microsoft Community.

As per the description, I understand that after an Update, your Display is larger and stretched. I will certainly help you with the issue.

I would like to know the make and the model of your PC.

Also, I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

    Method 1:

    • Press Windows key and type Change Screen Resolution and click on the option listed

    • Under Resolution, try changing the resolution settings

    Method 2:

You may update the Display driver from Device Manager manually and check if this helps.

    1. Press (Windows key + X) and click on “Device Manager”.

    2. Expand “Display Adaptor”.

    3. Right click on the video driver and select “Update Driver Software”. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.

    Method 3:

Try installing latest display driver from the computer manufacturer website and check if it helps. If Windows 10 display driver is not available in the manufacturer website, I suggest you to install the driver in compatibility
    mode.

To install the display driver in compatibility mode, I would suggest you to follow these steps:

    a. Download the latest drivers from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.

    b. Right-click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”.

    c. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

    d. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and
select latest Windows version from the drop down list.

    e. Let the driver install and then check the functionality.

    Hope this information helps.

Reply us with the status of the issue.

    Sincerely,
