Windows 10: Surface Laptop 3 - loud fan noise?

Bought a Surface laptop 3 back in January (15" AMD Ryzen. 8GB Memory. 128GB SSD. Platinum). I only use it for home office stuff (light surfing online, light MS Office word/excel, paying bills, etc). Its been a great laptop until a month ago when started buzzing like a bee hive. Sounds like the motor is spinning hard, but I don't feel any heat. I just did another windows update and that didn't fix it. Anyone heard of this issue? I see several threads on the Microsoft community forums but as usual no answers from Microsoft. I paid a lot of money for this laptop and don't expect it to sound like a lawnmower.

Fan noise

Are there any problems with the fan noise? IS it loud or can you hear it at all? I currently have the Lenovo Yoga 920 and the fan is so loud!!! I need one with no fan noise or very very very quite noise.

Surface laptop 3 fans running loud when laptop is plugged in

Hello. I have been having this problem with my Surface laptop 3 where when I play a light game (like Minecraft) with the laptop plugged in the fans become extremely loud. However when the laptop is not plugged in the fans don't get even close to being
as loud... Can someone help me solve this problem?

• Carefully blow out the dust from all the vents on the sides and underneath.
• Only use laptops on hard surfaces without any coverings on that surface.
• If it is a rattle / clicking type noise then it will need a Technician to replace the fan and completely clean out any dust / hair or other debris that may be trapped within the laptops casings and fan assembly.
