October 2020, win 10 update, audio crackling destroying my music work

    Win 10 home, build: 10.0.18363

System manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co Ltd

    motherboard; GA-78LMT-USB3 6.0

    x64

AMD FX 4130 quad core, 3800 Mhz, 2 cores, 4 logical processors

I use Roland MX-1 mixer's sound card as it is a highly professional setup, and have all relevant devices onboard and outboard all set to 48,000 sample rate at 24bit depth.

All drivers already been uninstalled/re-installed various times, but no avail.

EVERY piece of online advice from computer geek sites to windows official sites give advice which YEARS later hasn't actually provided any fix.

Troubleshooter useless and misses the point every time.

And really just being sent on wild goose chases any time i follow ''expert'' advice.

And notice this problem has persisted in various forums and feedback sites for as long as windows 10 has existed.

I have also, via my DAW manufacturers, Ableton, gone through every possible audio setting to prime my PC for audio production.

Media players, browsers, and in fact all audio producing things on my PC give a crackling like old scratched vinyl recordings. And worst of all, it effects recordings so I CANNOT DO ANY WORK on what should be my best computer built by a proficient gaming friend

And, NO< it is not my MX-1 mixer as i have run analogue and other digital devices through it independantly of the PC, and no issues there at all.

SO< now that is it october 2020, is there, surely a fix for this that isn't just the same old churned out stuff from going through device manager, checking all audio settings, power settings, enhancements?

WHAT IS GOING ON? I got the windows 10 update this autumn, and it, although i almost ALWAYS get issues with my work due to Windows updates, is this time ireally ripping the guts out of WHY i have my PC at all: to create audio works.

So, anyone found a genuine fix for this?
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not reply with the usual ''have you checked'' generic stuff i see in every search that claims to fix this, especially on windows forums as mentioned above, because YES i have done ALL OF THAT MANY MANY MANY and TOO many tiems

    :)

  2. Audio Crackling

Recently, I've noticed that the audio with my speakers and headphones is "crackling". It doesn't seem to matter what the volume is set at, nor what program I'm running. If I'm playing a game, the audio crackles. If I'm listening to music, the audio crackles.
I've tried downloading/updating my audio drivers, but nothing seems to help.
