  1. Snapping in quadrants with multiple displays?

Hi, I really like snapping windows to split up my screen into quadrants by dragging them into the corner of the screen. However, this doesn't seem to work on any edge shared with the taskbar or a dual display. I have my taskbar on the bottom and a dual display on the right side, so I end up only being able to snap using quadrants on the top left quadrant, and no others. If I want to have my taskbar on the left side of my monitor, then I'm not able to snap using quadrants at all.

Has anyone found a workaround for this?

  2. Cursor snapping to display edges, btween two monitors

Hi Vincekiss I would suggest you to try configuring multiple monitors and check if the issue is fixed.

Refer to the following Microsoft Help article to configure multiple monitors. The steps for Windows 8/Windows 8.1 applies to Windows 10 as well.

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-8/how-connect-multiple-monitors

Another way to fix is to go into settings, system, multitasking and disable snap... However this disables it completely.

  3. Anyone finding that Snap has changed?

It was a step back for me in the first 10 release, now after this upgrade its even worse. Desktop programs could be snapped in quadrants, now its only half screen like you say. The two metro apps I use won't even snap to half screen. They will only reduce to about 2/3 screen and won't snap at all. The hot keys don't work either? Did they change them? It used to be the Windows Logo key plus an arrow key.

    Multiple display taskbar

    Hi Justin,

Let me guide you now on how to set up multiple displays on a Windows 10 computer. You may follow the steps below to configure the correct display settings for your device.

    Here are the steps:

    • Right-click on your desktop.
    • Select Display settings, then different options will be displayed.
    • You can either choose Duplicate these displays to sync your activities from the original monitor with the second one or
Extend these displays to be able to do multiple activities using separate displays.
    • After choosing your preferred option, click on Apply.

Let us know if you have any further questions.
