Windows 10: Outlook.com and Windows Mail App - Use This Location no longer works

When creating a Event Meeting in either the Windows 10 Mail App, or via Outlook.com, when I started typing in the Location field use this location to specify where the meeting is to be held, the program would hunt and find a matching address. This now does not work on either application - via the Browser or the Mail App.


My Location settings are all set to on, but that probably has nothing to do with this issue as those settings are for where I am.


The feature is/was quite handy so, if anyone knows how to get it to work again, your help will be appreciated.

Delete mails in Outlook but want to keep mails untouch in webmail

When I deleted an email in outlook and my webmail got deleted too. I want to keep all the inbox mails from the webmail even I complete deleted in outlook. I spend hrs can't think it out how. Any step by step instruction? I'm using IMAP account btw. Thanks and Merry Christmas.

 

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

How to install outlook express on windows xp with explorer 8?

This was going to be my suggestion as well. I just wasn't sure if it worked with XP. It is definitely way better than Outlook Express, and I actually prefer it to regular Outlook as well.
