    Graphics card going bad?

I have a recently new pc and I am noticing some audio troubles when I play games COD is one that I hear often. I have either discord or Youtube playing in the background as well and after a few minutes I begin to hear audio crackling and popping. I ran latencymon and it looks like my GPU, 2060 super, could be to blame. I bought it from Newegg back in Feb of 2020 and I don't know what is the matter. My bios is two releases behind what is currently available and I don't think that is too blame. I have disabled c states in my bios and I don't see anything on my control panel that will let me change power management. Any help is greatly appreciated. Here is my Latencymon results.

    CONCLUSION

    _________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Your system appears to be having trouble handling real-time audio and other tasks. You are likely to experience buffer underruns appearing as drop outs,

clicks or pops. One or more DPC routines that belong to a driver running in your system appear to be executing for too long. Also one or more ISR routines

that belong to a driver running in your system appear to be executing for too long. One problem may be related to power management, disable CPU throttling

settings in Control Panel and BIOS setup. Check for BIOS updates.

LatencyMon has been analyzing your system for 0:04:53 h:mm:ss on all processors.

MEASURED INTERRUPT TO USER PROCESS LATENCIES

    _________________________________________________________________________________________________________

The interrupt to process latency reflects the measured interval that a usermode process needed to respond to a hardware request from the moment the

interrupt service routine started execution. This includes the scheduling and execution of a DPC routine, the signaling of an event and the waking up of a

usermode thread from an idle wait state in response to that event.

    REPORTED HARD PAGEFAULTS

    _________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Hard pagefaults are events that get triggered by making use of virtual memory that is not resident in RAM but backed by a memory mapped file on disk. The

process of resolving the hard pagefault requires reading in the memory from disk while the process is interrupted and blocked from execution.

NOTE: some processes were hit by hard pagefaults. If these were programs producing audio, they are likely to interrupt the audio stream resulting in

dropouts, clicks and pops. Check the Processes tab to see which programs were hit.

    graphics card problems

    Hi,

Your computer makes a noise or beeps from your internal speaker because it failed to detect the graphics card. What we can suggest is for you to try cleaning your graphics card with a pencil eraser. Here are the steps below:

    • Turn your computer off.
    • Pull out your video/graphics card.
    • Rubbed the cold contacts with soft pencil eraser.
    • Connect your video/graphics card back to the computer.
Kindly note that this is just a temporary fix. If the case still continues, I suggest that you contact your graphics card's manufacturer.

Let us know how it goes.
