Windows 10: Disks not showing in performance tab

Hello, my disks not showing in performance tab, I have ssd and hdd, problem is often when I turn on pc, disks not showing in task manager, they could not show for 5 minutes than appear, they could appear after 10 seconds after boot, or appear right after the boot. If they haven't appear a lot of apps will just crash, for example if I go to my antivirus it will crash, task manager could crash too, so event viewer. Tried sfc and dism, didn't help, reintalled windows (fully reinstalled), I also found my exact problem on microsoft forum: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...-manager/9245df85-492a-45a3-a1d1-b92050c4dbd6 . If I turn off my computer or restart while I don't have disks at performance tab it will turn off or restart for about 2-3 minutes, which is long cuz I have m.2 ssd. Don't know what to do. As far as I remember this appeared after installing new chipset drivers on my old windows, but I reinstalled it and deleted everything so that chipset driver must been deleted. If I go to explorer, I will see disks there but I will also see that explorer is loading smth, I understood that by seeing green line moving.

Task Manager Performance tab shows drive C: usage at 89% always.

I have a Windows 10 Pro system with all updates installed. The Task Manager Performance tab shows C: usage at 89% all of the time with only slight variations in the percentage. The Processes tab shows disk usage at about 40%. The only process using the disk
is System.

Disk defragmentation is disabled. File indexing is disabled. There are only five apps listed on the Startup tab including OneDrive and Windows Security Notifications. I have disabled the other three with no change in C: usage.

I have other PCs running the same version of Windows that do not have this problem. The only thing that is unique about the system with the problem is that C: is a software RAID 1 array consisting of two identical 4TB drives configured as RAID 1 in Disk
Manager. Is it normal for Task Manager to show continuous disk access for a Windows RAID 1 array? Any other suggestions? Thanks.

 

diskpart doesn't show disk

Hey,

I am trying to install Win10 on a mac book air.

However the diskpart does not list the disk even after reformatting the partition as NTFS per suggestion.

read through this solution but cannot move to step 1 listed in the solution by Ivan as that disk doesn't see that partition it was just able to reformat.

  Press Windows + R key and type diskmgmt.msc
  
• 
  Go to the action tab and click on the Rescan Disks.
