  1. Almost dead with despair. HELP. Audio Interface turns off if no sound passes through for...

I have 13" HP Spectre x360 2020 i71065G7. I use two monitors, bluetooth peripherals, an audio interface that connects into my studio monitors and mic all of which is connected to a USB C hub. The problem is whenever I pause a youtube video or there's no sound input for a minute, the audio interface looses power and since the speakers are on, there's a big pop and another pop when the power comes back on when I play again.

    Here's what I've tried:

    1. Power Options----Advanced Settings---Turned USB Selective Suspend to Disabled.
    2. Device Manager----USB Controllers+USB Devices+USB Connector Managers---Unticked "Allow the computer to turn off the device to save power" for every single device, wherever possible.
    3. Updated all my drivers.
    4. Reinstalled Windows.

I'm loosing my mind. SEND HELP.

    Multichannel audio interface in/out routing

    Hi Paulo,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community forums.

    • What is the make and model of your external audio interface?
    • Which routing application are you using?

The configurations of inputs and outputs on any audio interface is dependent on the hardware and its supporting software. Any audio interface with more than 2 inputs and 2 outputs, should ideally give the user an option to map the
Input and Output Config, according to his interest.

I suggest you to go through the user manual provided by your audio interface's manufacturer to know how to set up the control surface.

If it doesn't explain how to configure, I suggest you to get in touch with the audio interface's manufacturer to know how to configure the same.

    Hope it answers.

    Regards,
