To turn off windows updates in windows 7 follow these steps:

Click the start button, in the search box type in 'windows updates', click on 'windows update'
in the search results list, in the left side of the windows update window click 'change settings'
then in the option bar select 'Never check for updates'.

Resizing apps' windows visual glitches

Hello!
When I resize some apps windows horizontally, I get different artefacts. Sometimes they disappear after I stop the resizing, sometimes they stay. Even with browser horizontal resizing is buggy and black areas appear. Vertical resizing in all cases is smooth and fine.
I didnt have these problems with windows 7, but with 10 they are all over the place.
