Windows 10: Windows 10 crashing on IRQL Not less or Equal Error

Hello,


My computer has been crashing throughout the day with an "IRQL Not Less or Equal" error, so I looked up a solution and tried using driver verifier to try narrow down the issue. After enabling verifier following this guide https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-update/driver-verifier-tracking-down-a-mis-behaving/f5cb4faf-556b-4b6d-95b3-c48669e4c983, my computer would crash before fully booting, but would not display the name of the driver which was causing the crash. I have not ran memtest as I do not currently have access to a cd drive.

Windows 10 crashing on IRQL Not less or Equal Error

Hi,

My computer continually crashes and provides the error 'IRQL Not less or Equal Error'.

After doing some internet searching I came across tfunders question (How to fix DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error in Windows 10?) and have followed the link and
instructions within their question.

BSOD error IRQL not less or equal

My windows 10 keeps freezing and then crashing with the error code 'irql not less or equal'. It's been several months now. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, and updated drivers. No problem for a while but crashes resume in a few days. None of the command
prompts like scannow have helped yet. A restoro scan today listed some stability issues, most of which seem to be with 'esent'. (But i dont don't have the restoro paid version to fix this.) How can i fix this for good?

 

BSOD - IRQL Not Less or Equal Error

I've been getting BSODs every few days recently with IRQL Not Less or Equal errors. Following the procedures

from this Microsoft Answer, I ran Driver Verifier. I got repeated BSODs at that point (with no .sys file listed in the error, unfortunately), and had to restore from a System Restore point to get back into Windows.
