Windows 10: No Properties window appears for multiple selected items in the recycle bin

More for than a year I can't open "Properties" window for multiple selected items in the recycle bin.

It was very useful to check the total size of deleted files.

Currently I can open "Properties" window only for one selected file in the recycle bin.


It's definitely a bug and it should be fixed.

To prevent your files from being deleted from the Recycle Bin, we suggest increasing the maximum file size your Recycle Bin can keep by following the steps below:

• Right click on the Recycle Bin icon.
• Under the Settings for selected location, select Custom size.
• Fill up the box for your allotted maximum file size for your Recycle Bin.

Windows 10 Recycle Bin not displaying total properties of the current "trash"

When I select all items in the recycle bin, right-click on them and select properties, nothing happens - properties window does not show up. It seems to work for individual items, but not for multiple items.

I'd like to inquire whether this is a problem on my end.
