  1. Still seeing an uninstalled application inside of add or remove programs and the Xbox App

I uninstalled some games from the xbox app, or at least tried, I was unable to remove them directly inside the app so I tried with add or remove programs, that didnt work either, I ended up manually deleting the packages for the applications, however, every time that I go inside the xbox app the games are still showing as installed as well as on the add or remove programs window, I tried using a backup profile that I have on my computer and everything seems to be fine in there, when I log in to the xbox app no games are showing on the backup profile but when I go back to the main one they are still in there, I dont know what else to do, I even formatted the drive where the games were saved, that being the D drive but the issue seems to be within the C drive and my primary profile

    :)

  2. Xbox Insider App

    Hi Trevor,

There are various reasons why you are unable to use the Xbox Insider Hub on your Xbox One console. It is possible that the app is corrupted or the current Xbox Insider Update installed on your console is not installed. To resolve your concern, we suggest
that you perform the solutions below on your console:

Solution 1. Power cycle your Xbox One console.

You can reset, perform a full power cycle, or physically disconnect your Xbox One console to reboot it completely and fix many common issues. This process does not erase any of your games or data.

    • Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
    • Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds. Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
    • Plug the console power cable back in.
    • Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox One.

Solution 2. Clear the storage cache on the console.

    • Press the menu key on the controller.
    • Go to Settings, and then select Disc & Blu-Ray.
    • In the Blu-Ray section select Persistent Storage.
    • Select Clear persistent storage.

    Solution 3. Clear MAC address.

    • Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide.
    • Select Settings.
    • Select All Settings.
    • Select Network.
    • Select Network settings.
    • Select Advanced settings.
    • Select Alternate MAC address.
    • Select Clear.

Solution 4. Uninstall and reinstall the app.

    • On Home, move right and select My games & apps.
    • Highlight the content you want to uninstall.
    • Press the Menu button
      on your controller.
    • Select Uninstall.

If the issue persists, it is recommended that you share the issues that you encounter by chatting with other Xbox Insiders on the Xbox Insider Forums. To start a chat session, follow the steps below:

    • Sign in to Insider Program forums.
    • You may select Latest Xbox One Update Preview.
    • Select the appropriate category for your issue.
    • Click on Chat with Support.

Should you have any other queries, you can contact us anytime.

  3. Want to UNINSTALL XBox

    Hi Kristi,

Xbox App is one of the built-in applications on Windows 10. To uninstall it from your computer, you have to perform the following steps using the Windows PowerShell:

    • Click Start, and then type Windows PowerShell on the search box.
    • Right-click, and then select Run as administrator.
    •  Type the following command to uninstall Xbox app: Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage
    • Hit Enter.

If you are unable to uninstall the app, reset Windows Store to clear the store cache and try to uninstall the Xbox app again.

Here's how to reset Windows Store:

    • Press Windows key + X on your keyboard.
    • Click on Command prompt (Admin).
    • Type wsreset.exe, and then hit Enter.

Keep us updated with the results after performing the suggested solutions above.
