Windows 10: 3F0 Boot Device Not Found

Hello, on January 8th, 2020, my sister's HP computer stopped working, showing this boot error. Sometimes it would let her use her computer, before bluescreening and showing a flash of this screen. To fix it, we went to Best Buy's Geek Squad 3 times in a row, all of those attempts turning out to be futile. Is there anything we can do? Here are the things we've tried so far.


1 We have tried pressing F2 and doing both the Hard Drive Test and Memory Test. We passed the Memory Test and the Hard Drive Test says "No hard drive found".


2 We have tried doing Troubleshooting -> Advanced Options -> Reset PC -> Keep files, which has not worked.


Of course, we probably need a new hard drive, but I want to see if there's another option we can try first. Also, is there any way we can ask for a refund? My sister only used it for one college semester, which seems to be too short of a time period.

3f0 no OS found Error HP. Sometimes can boot into drive!

OS: Windows 10 Pro
Keyboard Wireless only


What has been completed:

previous- Power outage caused 3FO.
HP diagnostics No harddrive found??Removed Wireless radio USB dongal. Fixed
Computer boot.

Current--
May 1st, 2020: 3F0 error occurred after hard power button shutdown.
Steps taken.
1. Removed dongles- No Fix (boot to OS hdd=No, 3f0 error repeated.)
2. Entered Bios, reset to default- No Fix (Boot to OS HDD= No, 3f0 error screen repeated.)
3. Inserted official Windows 10 media tool USB flash memory stick No fix( Boot to USB =yes, Basic diagnostic= No HDD Found)
4. Reentered Bios rest To default, no fix (Boot to OS HDD= No, 3f0 error screen repeated)
5. Turned off computer disconected external power supply cable pulg, Came home from work (9 hours 45 minutes), Reconnected same power supply. Fixed yes (Boot to OS HDD = Yes OS operational)

Entered Windows Restart. Computer restarted.

Entered Windows shutdown. Computer Shows HP 3f0 error screen!

Repeated step 5 from above! Computer fixed boot to OS!


Scared to shutdown computer please help!

Whenever I am starting my laptop below message is displaying

“boot device not found, operating system not installed, hard disk 3F0, press F2 system diagnostics

I can’t installed my windows on hard disk, any windows not getting boot after starting



After checking my hard disk for quick check following error displayed

hard drive Smart check- FAILED & failure id- QCXTH1-6KW601-MFPX1A-960EV03



please suggest for hard disk fixing. I already recovered my data by removing hard disk and attached with pc as USB

Corrupted system files or it boot to a different hard drive that it why you received the message Boot Device no found. To better assist you, we'd like to gather more information:

• Have you made any changes prior to this issue?
• Which build and version of Windows 10 are you using?

Meanwhile, we suggest that you follow these steps on how to perform automatic repair:

• Force turn off your computer/device 3 times until you reach the Automatic Repair environment.
• On the list of options under Advance options, choose Start-up Repair and perform the instructions.
