Windows 10: Wifi keeps disconnecting randomly

Hello Microsoft support,

Since I switched to windows 10 I am having stability issues with my wifi connection: My desktop pc loses connection to my router in arbitrary time intervals. Sometimes every 5 minutes, sometimes my connection is stable for an hour. After the connection is lost, it is restored after about 10 seconds or so. While the connection is lost, the network adapter is still visible in the device manager. I have a strong connection all bars are filled.

I am using the TP-Link WN-823N networkadapter but I also tried others and switching does not resolve the problem.

Here is a list of things that I already tried:

• Use the latest driver of microsoft for the networkadapter.
• Use the TP-link driver for the networkadapter.
• Reinstall drivers multiple times
• Deactivate ipv6 internet protocol for networkadapter.
• Set wifi config of adapter to wifi instead of performance
• dont allow the computer to turn off the device to save power
• Set WLAN autoConfig service's start mode to automatic
• reset tcp/ip configuration
• Change network to private
• Forget wifi network and reconnect
• Use the Google DNS-adress 8 . 8 . 8 . 4 for the IPv4 protocol
• Deactivate and activate network adapter
• Reinstall and install network adapter
• Subsequently try every wireless mode of adapter IEEE 802,11b/g/n, IEEE 802,11b/g, IEEE 802,11b
• Try different USB ports

It is a fresh installation of windows 10 so it is very unlikely that any malware is causing this issue Also because this issue arised directly after installing windows 10. I am using AVG antivirus and it is not blocking my internet connection.

Furthermore, every other device in the household does not have any connectivity issues with the router. Only my desktop pc got this problem after installing windows 10 windows 7 did not have any connectivity issues.

The only thing that I find curious is the following: The last event in the event log says that the device could not be started when I have installed the tp link driver see image. But I can still connect to the wifi so I don't know what that message is all about. Also, the connection seems to be a little bit more stable with the tp-link driver. It still keeps disconnecting frequently though.






I have the feeling that I tried almost everything and nothing has helped so far. I would be very glad if you had any advice for me.

Windows randomly disconnects WiFi

Hello,

After installing 1903 update, my wifi randomly disconnects. I've to disconnect and reconnect wifi to make it work again.

Can anyone suggest some tips to solve this issue?

• If you have an identical laptop try comparing the wifi and security settings of the one that does not disconnect with the one that does. If you find any differences change the settings of the one that does not work to the one that does.

Wifi continuously disconnects


This just started happening only a few days ago, I'm not sure what might have caused it, but my laptop will suddenly disconnect from my wifi network. sometimes it won't disconnect, but just stop receiving/sending packets. I can tell this because suddenly my pages are stuck loading and skype is trying to reconnect, but nothing happens until I manually disconnect.

I have tried

• Troubleshooting
  
  But I usually get "Your proxy setting could not be recognized" or something, even though I don't have any proxy settings.
• Uninstalling and then reinstalling the latest driver for my wifi card
• disabling power saving for the wifi card as talked about here
• Everything mentioned on the Microsoft page here

This has been driving me crazy, ethernet works fine. I can connect my phone to wifi and tether it to my laptop, so this shouldn't be a problem with the router.
