Windows 10: Mirroring Amazon firetv

Hi,
The mirroring on firetv only works in 2Ghz but not with 5Ghz, although the wifi power is the same.
Does anyone have any advice?

Windows 10 Screen Mirroring to FireTV Stick Not Working

My Windows 10 laptop (HP Spectre) will not connect with my FireTV stick.

I have confirmed that my laptop supports Mircast.

When I click connect and switch on Screen Mirroring on my FireTV stick, my computed is able to detect the same. When I click connect, the FireTV says that it is connecting to my laptop.

However, after this, the FireTV automatically exits screen mirroring and my computer says it is unable to connect. Worse, if I click on reconnect, my entire system hangs and nothing short of a restart helps.

Please could you help me understand how to resolve this?

I think the reason you are having problems is because Amazon FireTV does not longer support Miracast connections from Windows based PC systems! Their website states that only devices running Android and FireOS are supported.

It was possible for Windows PCs earlier, but this was removed with one of the latest updates.

I only have a reference to the german Amazon website where you can see the table in the middle listing the supported platforms:

how to mirror windows 10 tablet to amazon fire tv?

Since I Switches from my Android Galaxy smartphone to Lumia 650 am also unable to connect to my firetv stick form Amazon. I tried with my surface rt, lumia 650 and a lumia 640 xl with latest Insider preview w10 redstone.

Funfact, the lumia 640 xl with windowsphone 8.1 Insider preview was able to find my firetv stick, to Connect and Stream/Project.

This Fact is very very Frustrating!!!!!
