Windows 10: multiple drives on same flash drive

I just bought dell 15 5000 win 10 laptop. I used a 64 GB flash drive to create a macrium boot disk. The drive name was D. After I created the boot disk I used it to start the computer and everything went well. I removed cortana from the registry by creating a new key with value 0. I wanted to create a new boot disk using the usb flash drive. Now the usb drive show two disk drives: a D drive and an E drive.


The D drive content is one folder system volume information and nothing else, and it shows drive capacity 0.99 GB.


The E drive content is the system volume information and all macrium boot files, and it shows disk capacity 0.99 GB.


I started the computer and it shows two boots options: boot with windows 10, and boot with macrium boot disk without a specific which disk D or E. I tried the two options and everything appears fine.


I removed the flash drive. Now I see only osc: drive. I stared the computer. It show two boots options !, I chose macrium rescue disk. Well, it started correctly with the display where to find the image file. No complaint. I restarted with windows 10 option, again no complaint.


Where the 64 GB of the flash drive have gone? and why there are two drives on the same flash drive?

CD to flash drive

Hi Pam,

There are several ways to copy your pictures from the CD to the Flash drive. One of which is by using the shortcut keys to copy and paste it.

We suggest following the steps below:

• Insert the CD and flash drive to your PC.
  
• Use Cortana and type File Explorer then click it.
• Choose This PC.
• Open the CD drive.
• If all the pictures are in a specific folder, press Ctrl + A
  on your keyboard to automatically choose all the pictures then, press Ctrl + C to copy it.
• Afterwards, Open the Flash drive, choose the location where you want to copy the pictures then press
  Ctrl + V to paste it.

Copying movie to Flash Drive
