Windows 10: Unable To View Emails On Windows Live Mail after Windows Update

After the Windows Update I am Unable to view emails on my Windows Live Mail app.


Error :- Error encountered - Message could not be displayed.


Please suggest on what needs to done asap.

Windows Messenger Confirmation Email

No It didnt appear in my spam box but I updated to Windows live Messenger which sent the confirmation email and also verified windows messenger. Ty everyone for there suggestions

As an initial troubleshooting step, I recommend that you repair your Windows Live Mail. Here are the steps:

• Go to Control Panel and when viewed by
  Category, go to Programs and click on
  Uninstall a program.
  
  -or-
  
  When viewed by Large or Small icons select and click on Programs and Features.
  
• Please look for Windows Live Essentials.
  
• Click Uninstall/Change in the menu bar above the program list.
  
• Select Repair all Windows Live programs.

Method 1: Remove and reconfigure your account in Windows Live Mail.

Note: Before removing an account, check that the messages you want saved are available when you sign in to the web version. If some of your messages are available only in
Windows Live Mail, export your messages before removing the account.

To remove and reconfigure your account, please follow these steps:

1. Right-click the account you want to remove, and then click Remove account.

2. Click Yes to confirm.

3. To reconfigure, open Windows Live Mail by clicking the Start button . In the search box, type
Mail, and then, in the list of results, click Windows Live Mail.

4. In the lower-left corner, click Mail.

5. Click the Accounts tab, and then click Email.

6. Type your email address, password, and display name, and then click
Next.

7. Follow any additional steps, and then click Next.

8. Click Add another email account if you want to add more accounts, or click
Finish to start using Windows Live Mail.

Method 2: Repair the Live Mail

• Type Programs and Features in the search bar and click on the first selection.
• Under Programs and Features, "Windows Live Essentials" is listed. Highlight and click "uninstall/change" at the top to get the repair dialog.
  
• The repair actually applies to all the installed components of the Essentials package, including Mail.
