    Mic is not working(Driver Issue)

My Mic seems not working. When I do the mic test its working but when I listen to the voice its not coming properly.People are not able to listen to me in Teams Call.

I tried updating the windows ,even after the update its the same .I had an issue with speaker also which I somehow fixed by updating the drivers but mic is still not working

I am suspecting a software driver issue. Please help

Let me know what additional information is required.I already tried updating the driver in device manager

  3. Freezing & Mic Issues

    Hi,

The issue you're experiencing on freezing system might be due to software conflict. to help you resolve the issue, to isolate the issue, we suggest that you perform clean boot.
A clean boot is performed to start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This helps eliminate software conflicts that occur when you install a program or an update or when you run a program in Windows 10. Refer to the article
on how to perform clean boot.

How to perform a clean boot in Windows

Note: Please go through the section: Reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting of the KB article to boot the computer in normal startup after fixing the issue.

To help you troubleshoot issues with mic, we suggest that you uninstall and reinstall sound drivers. To that, follow the steps below:

    • In Control Panel, click Hardware and Sound, and then click
      Device Manager.
    • Expand Device Manager.
    • Right click on Sound, and select Uninstall.
    • Restart your computer.
    • Windows will automatically install sound drivers.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

Laptop Mic is not listening anything, I guess due to drivers issue.

    USB Mic Problems.

The next step is what I suggested originally. Try it in a friend's PC or take it to Best Buy and ask them to try it one of their PC's. Have to confirm the mic is working OK.
