Problem: Every 5-15 seconds the audio when using my headphones in the 3.5mm audio jack or speakers connected through an external monitor using a micro DP to DP crackle with a subtle glitch noise, this problem is worse when using Dischord or while gaming. This problem does NOT persist with Bluetooth headphones which I feel like removes a lot of possibilities for what the problem could be.

Fixes tried so far: CCleaner full cleanup, full Realtek audio driver reinstall, three pairs of headphones and another two Bluetooth headphones (both pairs of Bluetooth worked fine), disabled audio enhancements through sound settings and changed sample rate to 16 bit 48000hz and I have run windows audio troubleshooter.

As the title says anyone with a solution gets 10 quid because I am so tired of this problem.

EDIT: Dell g5 laptop (always plugged in but unplugging does nothing) with a View sonic monitor, (disconnecting the monitor does nothing).

    Audio Pop/Stutter/Crackle When Stopping Audio

I've been having this issue for the past two days, and I've tried everything to no avail.
    Basically this is the issue:
    I get a pop/crackle when I suddenly stop audio.
    What I'm running:

    • Schiit Uber Stack.
    • Win 10 PC.
    What I've tried:

    • Tried onboard audio, still get the problem.
    • Tried onboard audio on both my PC and laptop, still get the problem.
    • Tried my stack on both PC and laptop, still get the problem.
    • Tried using a DPC latency checker, everything seems fine there.
    • Tried different headphones just in case, wasn't the issue.
    • Tried changing audio format, still get the problem.
    • +literally tried 99 other things *Tongue

That pop is happening when I suddenly stop the sound effect. I get that pop when a Windows notification shows up. My friend's voice on Discord also pops every couple of seconds (100% sure it's not his mic).
    Any help is appreciated!
(Just to clarify, I made sure it's not a hardware issue, so something within Win 10 is screwing with me)

I WILL LITERALLY PAYPAL ANYONE WHO FINDS ME A SOLUTION $10 *chuckle

(Yup, I'm losing my mind and I'm that desperate lol)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

The Ultimate Realtek HD Audio Driver Mod for Windows 10

    Hi all,

I have an issue to my windows 10 HTPC / Radeon rx 560 HDMI audio out to a Denon x2300w. Using the stock windows audio drivers I can't get more than 2.0 stereo. Surround sound content just results in silence when passed as bitstream.

It was suggested that I try this Dolby driver, but I see that it has not been updated in a while. I am curious if the user's here think this is a worthwhile solution.

    Best,
    Rob
