Windows 10: Rog Strix z490-e Gaming. No "pitch change" options in new realtek drivers

Hi there! First, sorry for my english.
I have just upgraded from an i7 920 in an Asus P6x58D Premium mobo to an i7 10700k in a Asus Rog Strix z490-e Gaming mobo. I haven't reinstalled windows and it seems all runs fine for now.

In my old system, with the Realtek ALC889 codec I had an option to change the pitch of the audio in realtime. Quality was awful but this was a VERY useful tool for me, since I'm a music and guitar teacher and sometimes I have to play youtube songs (or other music stuff) with the pitch changed (due to alternative tunings, alternative tuning or chords, and other "musical" wordiness ...) in order to help my students to play those songs.

NOW, in my new system, I have tons of effects and software (bloatware? ), but there is not an option to change the audio pitch in the main output. YES IT IS in the "realtek optical output", which makes use of optical output...which I don't use". The option is missing in the main analog output (in my case called "speakers")

Any thoughts on this? Thanks in advance!

Trouble with ASUS X299-E Gaming / Realtek Driver

Maybe your Strix laptop gets a different skin version than a Maximus X Hero?
Kind of like how UEFI/BIOS gets different skins, even though both are ROG.

 

No audio in new ASUS ROG Strix G512LV

Hi,

I recently purchased an ASUS ROG Strix G512LV running Windows 10. Originally the sound worked fine through the laptop's speakers, then a few weeks ago it stopped working, but was resolved by rolling the audio driver back from Audio_Realtek_Nahimic_ROG_V6089401
to Audio_Realtek_Nahimic_ROG_V6089311.

This weekend the sound has stopped working again. When the laptop boots up it makes the usual ROG sound, but then as soon as Windows is reached it doesn't make any. I've tried both the above drivers, multiple times, and it hasn't worked. I've also tried
changing the BIOS from 309 to 310, but that hasn't made any difference. I've tried two different headphones too and they do not have sound either.

I've gone into device manager and disabled/enabled Realtek and updated drivers / uninstalled / reinstalled drivers.

The speaker icon is showing that it is on and allows me to change the level too.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
