Windows 10: Sound Forge Audio Studio 14 help F1 not responding

I recently installed Sound Forge Audio Studio 14 Microsoft Store Edition and the application seems to be working okay except it does not respond to F1 or the menu item for help contents and index. I have done the following:

• Ran "Repair" for this app from within Windows 10 Settings.
  
• Uninstalled and reinstalled the application.
• Ran the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter.

None of these actions resulted in Help being available.

How can I resolve this issue?

Sony Sound Forge Audio Studio 10 on Windows 10 Professional 64-bit

I have once again done a clean install of Windows 10 Professional 64-bit on my computer being that the hardware is designed for the newer O.S.'s, installing my software however is one of the reasons i did not want tot upgrade.

I am trying to install Audio Studio 10 onto this windows 10 computer and i get an Error that download of Microsoft Framework 2.0 was corrupted. now i know that windows 10 has Microsoft Framework 4.5 native but Magix who is now handling Sound Forge Audio

I have contacted them but have not yet received and answer as to how i am able to install this software onto Windows 10.

I have been searching the World Wide Web for answers and saw this today from Microsoft answers;

Sound Forge Pro 10 not working in Windows 10.

in this forum post the Microsoft person suggests that a user use compatibility mode. when doing so the only thing suggested in the drop down list is Windows 8. Windows 8 has Microsoft Framework 2.0/3.5 whereas Windows 10 has Microsoft Framework 4.5 native
only. apparently the Microsoft person does not know this.

I am looking for a work around for this since the Magix team Explicitly states that Sony Sound Forge Audio Studio 10 will work and does work with Windows 10.

 

Sony Sound Forge 7 won't open since Windows 10 upgrade

Tried to open my registered Sony Sound Forge 7 software program today and realized that since Windows 10 upgrade, like some other software programs affected, this one won't open.

(1) Tried some of the suggestions in regedit but didn't see all of the Sony entries listed in the steps

(2) Tried opening with "run as administrator" - didn't work.

Any suggestions?

 

Sound Quality

One thing that sticks out from looking at your "My Computer" specs. You list "ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)" which suggests you do not have the correct sound hardware driver. Your motherboard has Realtek sound and the first step is to install the Realtek sound drivers. My ASUS also came with Sonic Studio 2 which is a sound enhancement package. Check the ASUS install disc to see if you have something similar.

May not be a speaker problem.
