    re-install broken games - Xbox app on Win10


    Hello


    got a broken harddrive, replaced it.

    Now the Xbox app still shows games like Sea of Thieves, Age of Empires 3 and so on as installed, but i cant start them.

    Also uninstall in Xbox app or from Windows store is not working.


    Installing new never played games works.

    Already did a repair install of Win10 using the iso file, did not change anything.

    Also reset windows store, windows gaming services and reinstalled the Xbox app.



    How to reset the Xbox app fully or how to remove these games from it?

    Unable to play my bought games and this is very annoying.

    • Hello, i have a problem with Xbox App on Windows 10 Home Edition. The XBOX application isn't loading. Firstly it showed the error 0x409 0x80131509, then I reset the application settings . I followed the instruction steps. Looks like that didn't help. When
      I launch the XBOX application or a game that requires connection to the XBOX services, I have an infinite loading logo. In the properties of the XBOX network, i have NAT error, that couldn't resolve by built-in helper.

    I appreciate your reply. It seems that the game progress was saved to your Xbox account associated on your computer that's why you can't play the game from the beginning. I recommend that you remove the account on your computer by performing the following
    steps:

    1. Press the Windows icon, then select the gear icon to access Settings.
    2. Select Accounts.
    3. Under Email & app accounts, click the Microsoft account, then click Remove.

    I also suggest that you reset the Xbox app on your computer so that we could ensure that no account is linked to it. To get started, kindly follow these steps:

    1. Press the Windows key, then select the gear icon to access Settings.
    2. Go to Apps.
    3. Under Apps & features, locate the Xbox app.
    4. Click the Xbox app, then select Advanced options.
    5. Click Reset.
