    What is the Image Size for Solitare Cards?


    Hello! I love the feature in Microsoft Solitare where you can add custom pictures for your cards, and backgrounds, but what is the image size of the cards and background? I am drawing my own cards, but I don't want them to be cropped out.

    Hi Mark,

    Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community. Appreciate your interest in using Windows 10 and your steps in trying to solve the issue.

    I suggest you to check the size of the SD drive and the size of the image in the SD drive. If there is any change in the size, the images might be hidden. So I suggest you to unhide the hidden files by following the steps below.

    • Right click on the Start icon and select Command Prompt (Admin).
    • Type/(copy and paste) the command below:
    attrib –h –r -s /s /d D:*.* (Replace the Last letter "D" by the drive letter as per the system

    assigned for your flash drive)

    3. Type Exit and press Enter.

    Now open the SD card and check for the status.

    In this scenario, we would suggest you to reset the Solitaire game from Apps and feature.



    Steps to reset the Solitaire app.

    1. Press Windows + I key from the keyboard to launch
      Windows Settings.
    2. Select Apps. Click on
      Apps & feature from the left pane.
    3. Search and select Solitaire app and click on
      Advanced options.
    4. Click on Reset and follow the onscreen steps.
