    Computer clock not updating automatically


    Hi there,


    For the last few months, I am facing issue with my Windows 10 Pro. The date and time is not getting updated automatically. We tried to make all the changes in settings, followed different solutions, changed battery and still the same issue. Can someone help me with this? Thanking you in advance.

    Resolution Suggestion:

    # To resolve this problem, make sure that BITS and the Automatic Updates service are started..

    A simple solution but one that works in most circumstances!

    1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.

    2. In the list of services, right-click Automatic Updates, and then click Properties.

    3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Apply.

    4. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

    5. Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Properties.

    6. In the Startup type list, click Manual, and then click Apply.

    7. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

    Automatic clock on Windows 10 not working. I know how to set Manual clock. The auto clock shoule work. I am connected to internet.

    If the Windows 10 Clock Time is wrong or not synchronizing, we need to check first if your
    Windows Time Services are set on Automatic and
    Started    . To resolve your concern, it is also recommended that you run the
    System File Checker first to scan for and restore corrupt Windows system
    files.

    Follow the steps listed below and check if it helps:

    • Press Windows Key + R.
    • Type services.msc.
    • Click Windows Time in the Name column.
    • Change Startup type to Automatic (if it’s not already set to Automatic).
    • Click Start if the service isn’t started.
    Let us know how it goes after performing the suggested steps.
