Windows 10: Edge and Chrome not playing preview on taskbar

This happened recently with both browsers. If, for example, I'm playing a youtube video on Chrome and switch to Edge, the preview for when I hover the mouse over the Chrome logo on the taskbar doesn't show the video playing and only a white youtube screen. It's the same if I do the opposite and use Edge for the video while being on Chrome. But if I play a video on Firefox then switch to one of the other browsers, the video keeps playing in the Firefox preview on the taskbar. Anyone know how I can fix Chrome and Edge? I tried restoring the settings to their defaults in both browsers but that didn't work.

chrome + taskbar autohide problem

So i set my taskbar autohide. whenever chrome is in fullscreen, when i hover around the corner, the taskbar wont appear. It works with other browsers....

 

taskbar preview not playing

Hello,

Before I re-install my windows 10, minimized program or youtube videos were playing(actually playing videos or animations in preview) when I move mouse over the icon on taskbar. but with new windows 10 I reinstalled it seems not working. I know it is playing
cause I can hear the sound but the videos are not playing with small live preview window...

Edge Import Bookmarks from Chrome does not work

To resolve your issue with Microsoft Edge, we suggest that you clear your browsing data. Please follow the steps below:

• Click on the 3 dots at the upper right corner of Edge.
• Go to Settings.
• Go to Clear browsing data.
• Click on Choose what to clear > Clear.
• Try to import your bookmarks from Chrome to Microsoft Edge.
