Windows 10: There is something wrong with my windows, or my computer.

(Apologies for bad formatting or anything, I'm just bad at writing)

I've had this issue where I am completely unable to download this certain windows update (KB4586781), I'm not sure if it's important but the full name of the update is



2020-11 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 2004 for x64-based Systems (KB4586781)

I've seen a few people saying that this update has had issues with installing, but I haven't seen anything past that. As soon as the update finishes downloading and reaches 100%, it says,

"Error encountered

some update files are missing or have problems. We'll try to download the update again later. Error code: (0x80070000d)"



and it gives me the option to retry the update, but every time I do, I get the same error message.

I have tried to manually download the update, but every time the installer finishes, I get the text,



"The following updates were not installed:

Security Update for Windows (KB4586781)"



Some people have told me to reinstall windows, which I have, and every time, on every fresh install, the same update fails every single time, no matter what I do it feels like.



On top of all of this, when I try and run the windows update troubleshooter I get an error that says that something prevented it from running, so I can't even use the built-in troubleshooter.



Something else that I have tried is several command prompt "fixes" according to some websites. After running the command

sfc /scannow several times, every time I get the same answer



"Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.

For online repairs, details are included in the CBS log file located at

windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For offline

repairs, details are included in the log file provided by the /OFFLOGFILE flag."



All of this would be fine, because I don't really NEED the update, but certain anticheats like easyanticheat which is used in games like rust and apex legends will not work without the most recent windows update.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
