Windows 10: How can I get my HP Envy to print from my Win 10 computer?

I have followed all suggestions here and those on MS support. Printer still won't print.

The non-printing started in early November 2020.

I tried System Restore, updating HP Envy 5052 drivers mine were already up to date, removing and reinstalling the HP printer using Wi-Fi, using USB connection, tried new USB cable, tried to use the KB4567512 fix. NOTHING has worked. I NEED my printer to work. I bought a new printer thinking the printer itself was at fault. The new printer had the same problem.


The print window when I click "print" in the file I want printed shows several other options, i.e. One Note, PDF Architect, and others but not my HP. Devices and Printers window shows my HP but only option is "scan" and does not show "set as default."


I really, really need to print many files every day for my work.


Please get this to work. Both my pc and my printer are less than 2 years old.

Unable to print using HP Envy 5055 printer

I understand that you are unable to print using HP Envy 5055 printer. I’ll certainly help you with this issue.



However, please let us know:

• Are you facing this issue only while printing Excel documents?
  
• Do you receive any error code/message?
  
• Were you able to print documents earlier?
  

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to try running
HP Print and Scan Doctor on your computer this will diagnose the issues with Printing.



You may also want to try reinstalling the drivers from HP website:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-envy-5000-all-in-one-printer-series/14095644/model/14095768. Try installing the recommended drivers and check.

Solved: HP ENVY 5540 Not Printing in Color on PCs With Windows 10

Several months ago, after a MS Win 10 update, my HP ENVY 5540 All-In-One Printer stopped printing in color.

Finally, a solution that works.
The window for this feature is back, and my
HP ENVY 5540 now prints in color or black and white.

This may work for other printers, but I won't guarantee it.

I pieced the solution together after reading several recommendations from both customers and tech moderators.

Too simple, really!

FIX FOR HP ENVY 5540 All-In-One COLOR PRINTING

Go to DEVICE MANAGER / PRINTERS /

Right click on the HP Envy 5540 icon and select
Update Driver.

Select Browse my computer for driver software.

Select Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer.

Select Microsoft IPP Class Driver.

Click on Next.

When printing a document, select Printer Properties, and you should now get a window that gives you the option to slect Black & White, or Color printing.

 

HP Envy Laptop Battery not charging after Windows 10 installation

Hi,

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Communities.

I suggest you to un-install and re-install battery drivers from Device manager and check. Follow the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Device Manager.
• Expand Batteries and right click on Batteries ACPI and click on Un-install.
• Restart the computer and check.

If the issue persist, I suggest you to visit HP Envy website and check whether HP has released any firmware updates for Windows 10. If so, please go ahead and install them and check with the issue.
