    Hi. So it seems I've got the "famous" "The default gateway is not available" troubleshooter error when PC internet drops randomly. I've googled and read reddit 10+ posts with same problem as mine but it seems nothing has fixed my issue or I missed something.

    First of all I'm running Windows 10 20H2, PC connected VIA ethernet cable, sometimes I connect my phone using motherboards wi-fi chip.

    Things I tried with no success.

    Updated/downgraded/uninstalled/reinstalled drivers.

    In power management disabled "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"

    In Windows plan settings changed Wireless adapter settings/power saving mode - maximum performance

    Ran few magic commands in command prompt with no avail, this makes me angry...



    I'm really lost and don't know what is causing this, do you guys know any reliable solution for this particular issue? I'm seeking for advices and what should I check/try next...

    I had this exact same issue with a Dell laptop which has an Intel wireless adapter.

    What fixed it for me was changing the Power Saving options for my wireless adapter to Maximum Performance. You can follow the steps in this article: Fix Wireless Limited Access Default Gateway Not Available Windows 10 - TeckLyfe

    You're most welcome. I'm sorry to hear that. Now, if that's the case, then how about trying the steps below & see if it fixes your issue.

    1. Temporarily disable your Antivirus program or Windows Security below.

    3. Otherwise, manually assign the default gateway IP, as shown on this link below. Reboot your PC & check.
