Windows 10: Error updating Windows 10 (0x80070003) with Linux Dual Boot

I'm trying to update Windows 10, but each time I attempt it I get a message "We couldn't complete the update. Undoing changes." When I open the Settings app to check the error code, I get this:

Some update files are missing or have problems. We'll try to download the update again later. Error code: (0x80070003)

Currently, I am dual-booting Windows 10 with Ubuntu 20.04, which may be why I am getting this error. I changed the boot order in BIOS so that the Windows 10 boot-loader would start before the GRUB boot-loader, but still no luck in updating. Here is what I am trying to update:

1. 2020-11 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 10 2004 for x64 (KB4580419)
2. 2020-11 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 2004 for x64-based Systems (KB4586781)
3. Feature update to Windows 10, version 20H2 (originally didn't update with this because it was optional, but I still faced same problem without it)

I went to C:\Windows\Panther\setuperr.log but I only find errors from more than a month ago. I am not too knowledgeable in what this means but thought it might help anyone:

I've tried a few different ways to fix this problem. First I tried running troubleshooter, restarted the Windows Update service, restarted Windows Update in Command Prompt - no luck. I also used Disk Cleanup to remove some leftover Windows Update attempts and logs - still no luck. In addition, I tried following u/Tekkie_Boy instructions for registry editor change (see here) but also didn't work (I already had the right key on registry). All of the other methods in this article I tried as well to no success.

Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Windows 10 Update Error 0x800703ed - Dual Boot with Linux

I have 3 laptops with windows 10 and dual-boot suse linux. The ones with i7 6700 and i75500 chips updated without any problem, but the old one, with a T6570 chip required me to take down the dual boot. It now seems to be updating correctly. I will have to
replace the linux dual-boot system

You should try repairing your Windows 10 installation using the following steps:
