Windows 10: I customized my boot up logo. Now windows won’t let me enter unless I input a 56-number...

Today I just bought an asus laptop. When I booted it up it showed the asus logo, which I am not used to, so I started looking online to look for ways to change it back to the windows logo. I installed a program called hackBGRT, which requires me to disable secure boot. It worked at first, but then it asked me to enter the bitlocker code. When I enabled secure boot, it straight up popped a red box saying “Secure Boot Violation”, and won’t let me enter at all, so I had to disable again, and type that long-ass bitlocker code just to access my laptop. How do I turn bitlocker thing off? And are there potential security risks when I disable bitlocker?

Sabertooth 990fx won't boot to windows logo, it shuts down

to boot and enter bios and load windows, any todays PSU (with the correct plugs) will work, AFAIK

to enter BIOS only low wattage is used.
Then, during boot, the HDD and a bit later the videocard card start to demand juice, then the other devices and periphericals... so the total demand during boot up is incrementing step by step, that's why a failure halfway could indicate a PSU problem....

Which steps did you perform? Was this from a clean boot?
Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste this command: shutdown /r /o /f /t 00
It will boot to the recovery options or windows advanced troubleshooting menu.
Click troubleshooting and click reset this computer. You will be saving files. Applications and programs will be removed. Windows will be reinstalled.
Enter your windows logon password.
You will see getting things ready with rotating dots.
Click resetting this PC.
It will then display the HP logo with resetting this PC with rotating dots and a percentage.

So when you see the HP logo (or just before) start pressing one of those.


As you can't boot your PC, your only hope of recovery is if you can boot it not from its internal disk, but from something else.

That way you have a chance of running System Restore, or restoring the registry backup. And at least you can see if you can still access the hard disk inside your PC.

Whatever you need to do will, I think, be well outside your comfort zone, so I would strongly suggest you seek help from a friend or relative.

Do you have a bootable flash drive or DVD for Win 10?
(Your laptop apparently has a DVD drive)

Please download and burn a DVD for Kyhi's bootable disk available from the top of the Software and Apps section here. This should give you a Win 10 style desktop.

However, to be able to boot from it you probably need to change the boot priority in your BIOS.
