  1. Windows 10 wont start up further after showing the windows logo

    Hello,

I have a problem with my windows starting up. It gives me a black screen after showing the windows logo. It also wont run in safemode, I tried this but it will also give me a blackscreen.

I have also tried the problem solver for windows and the diskchecker, both with no results.

The last thing I tried is to reset my pc. It gave me the option to fully delete windows and all the other files. I selected this option but it says that my disk has not enough space for windows (which is weird because i gave my pc the permission to delete everything so I should have enough space). Because it gives me this error, i think my disk is corrupted or something, but im not sure.

Does anyone else ever had this issue, or knows what is wrong?

    Thanks for the help!

NOTE: i have a normal hard drive and an extra SSD. Windows is installed on the SSD.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    windows xp wont start

after going through POST,this computer loads the options "safe mode, safe mode with networking, start windows normally..." etc. after trying all of the options, it loads to the windows screen showing the XP logo. after it has completed loading a black screen opens with the mouse cursor, and it wont go any farther. you can move the mouse around, but that is all.

what i have tried so far:

i have used the windows XP disk and tried recover console commands:
    chkdsk
    fixmbr

tried to restore NTLDR and Ntdetect using these commands:
    copy d:\i386\ntldr c:\

    copy d:\i386\ntdetect.com c:\

tried to restore Hal.dll From the Windows XP CD:
    expand d:\i386\hal.dl_

    c:\windows\system32\hal.dll

i also tried a PE builder using the software installed on it:
    western digital diagnostic
    ms checkdisk

i cleared the bad sector that came up using western digital diagnostic, but that didnt help.

can i get some suggestions? i usually dont encounter these problems, any ideas and procedures will help, thanks

    Windows 10 Tweaks

As you may already know, Windows 10 (as well as Windows 8) allow you to log in with a valid Microsoft account, instead of creating a local account that only works on your machine. However, you may prefer to keep a local account for privacy reasons. If you do, though, some Windows 10 features—like Cortana—may not work. Despite the default behavior, the Windows 10 Store is not one of them. You can still log in to your Microsoft account for just the Store without switching to a full Microsoft account. The process, however, is not terribly obvious. To do so, follow these steps:

    • Launch the Store from your Start menu.
    • Click the user icon next to the search box.
    • Click “Sign-in” from the menu that appears.
    • Choose “Microsoft account” and log in like normal.
    • When the “Make it yours” box appears do not enter your password. Instead, click “Sign in to just this app instead.”
