Windows 10: Mail App Won't Receive Some Emails

My Mail App won't receive some emails, specifically from emails I haven't received from before. They say I'll get a confirmation email but I never receive anything. it doesn't happen with all emails. Recently, a friend forwarded me a confirmation email received from a game I wanted to play and I immediately received all emails I had previously been unable to receive from this email, and was able to receive new ones. Is there a way to fix this? I need to be able to receive emails and I don't think they can be forwarded every time.

2) Do you receive any error message, while trying to send/receive Emails on Windows Mail app?

3) What is the make and model of your Computer?

If you are referring to Windows 10 Mail app, I suggest you to Windows 10 app troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Windows 10 Mail App can receive mail but can't send it

I am trying to use the Windows 10 Mail App to send/receive email using my work email account. I am able to successfully receive email but everytime I tried to send a new email, it goes straight to the Outbox and never gets sent.

When I received email initially, I had to accept a certificate. I haven't been prompted to accept a certificate with sending but I suspect that is the hang up.

How can I get the Mail App to send emails?
