    Error 0x800F0922 reinstalling Print to PDF


    Hello,


    I can't reinstall the Microsoft Print to PDF printer.


    I did everything that is recommended in several sites, even some Microsoft support blogs, but I can't make it work again it worked fine until some days ago.


    The process I'm following is:


    - Features and applications in control panel

    - activate / deactivate Windows fatures

    - check Microsoft Print to PDF option


    then Windows looks for necessary files and fails when attempts to apply changes.


    The error is 0x800F0922.


    I tryed updating Windows, restarting the PC, etc... with no success.


    My Windows specs are:


    - Edition: Windows 10 Home Single Language

    - Version: 2004

    - Installed: 11/24/2020

    - OS version: 19041.662

    - Experience: Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.551.0

    "Microsoft Print to PDF" missing and Error 0x800F0922

    Windows 10 did an update ysterday and now the "Microsoft Print to PDF" option is missing. I've tried online resources for a fix and none are working. Error 0x800F0922 says to find the Net Frameowork Sources folder, which is also missing.

    Unable to print .jpeg using Microsoft Print to PDF, using Windows features to unistall and re-install results in error code: 0x800F0922 on Windows 10.

    Hi,

    I am trying to print the jpegs from local files using paint.

    The solutions tried are the ones listed in my message above:

    "Print to File" is unchecked.

    I have tried to uninstall and reinstall using Windows Features but got error code: 0x800F0922

    I ran the DISM healthcheck: Dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth

    There were no error messages. So I restarted the laptop, went to Windows Features and tried to check Windows Print to PDF again. This time the installation was successful, and I have been able to print to PDF files.
