  1. importing images just became difficult

I am not sure how my system changed but today I inserted an SD card with photos on it. What typically use to happen is I was prompted to import images from the card through Photos. Typically a unique folder was created to reflect individual dates. This worked very well. I suppose because it worked so well some miscreant in Microsoft decided to mess it up. Again upgrades that down grade. How can I get back to insuring that when I insert a SD card that I am prompted to import and that this import will create unique date folders for photos taken on that day?

    :)

Fresh Paint and importing multiple images

    Hi Victor,

Thank you for being part of Windows 10.

    • Are you able to import a single image into the canvas for collage?
    • Did you check that by saving each images after the import?

Please reply to the questions in order to assist you in a better way.

    Importing photos

    Hi Susie,

Is the phone not recognized or is it not importing the pictures automatically?

Is Nokia PC suite installed in your PC? Is that not recognizing the phone as well?

I would suggest you to open device manager and check if the device is listed in the device manager. Right click on the start button and click on Device manager. Check if the device is listed there . If it is listed, right click on the entry and click update
driver. If the device is not listed, check if the device is listed under other categories. I would also suggest you to click on the 'View' menu button and click on "show hidden devices' and check if you find any entries related to your phone. Try these steps
and let us know the results for further assistance.

File Explorer Just Got More Difficult: I tend to drop files into a folder, then later move them to a subfolder. In Win 10, that was originally still doable, but harder....
