    How can I clean my computer of threats for free?


    I've been using the windows 10 virus scanner ever since I got my computer, but I recently started noticing some more suspicious files so I downloaded a free trial of Malwarebytes which ended up finding around 28 threats that windows never saw, but Malwarebytes only seems to quarantine files. What is a free/simple way to clean my computer of these threats without having to spend any money?

    The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

    Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

    Thank you john for all of your help i decided to get the usb my computer came with and factory reset it i didnt have anything that personal or valueable so its ok thanks for the help though i appreciate it
