Windows 10: I have a HP laserjet pro mfp m177 fw unit.

I have a HP laserjet pro mfp m177 fw unit. I can print but when I try the scanner icon all that happens is on the printer scree I see calibrating. No scanning.

Printing problem with HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M177fw

I have the exact same problem in every way. Please note the M177fw is what I started out with. The driver update gave me the M177 PCLmS entries below. I now have the following printers in my computer, as a result of trying to download the drivers and software:

Hi Dwight. I'm Greg, an installation specialist and 8 year Windows MVP, here to help you.

I'd run all Maintenance tasks available on the printer Control Panel. This is likely a printer problem more than Windows.

Also from the Drivers section download and install the latest Firmware and full Software package.

I'd uninstall any in Setttings > Apps and Features first, then restart PC before installing.
