  1. No internet access every two and a half days...?

I don't get it. Every two and a half days (roughly) I'll get on my workstation to find Outlook and Dropbox disconnected and the globe sitting in my icon tray with no internet connectivity at all. If I open the Network Connections/Change adapter options settings page, disable my NIC, wait a minute then re-enable it I can sometimes get the 'net up and am okay for about a half hour - then it goes dark again. IF, at that point (this also works if I don't disable/re-enable the NIC) I fire up ExpressVPN - I get connectivity back to most things and places. Sometimes certain pages give me grief about being in a certain area or something, or some pages refuse to load (sometimes loading after a while; Google and DuckDuckGo refuse to load, Bing loads fine, Amazon does not, Reddit loads but I can't post for some reason, even though it says I'm logged in) but for the most part I can save any URLs I need. This can last anywhere from a half hour to a couple of days again. If that doesn't work (or if I've been up on the VPN for those two'ish days) a reboot is required which gets me back online again, but starts the clock again.

I've got Verizon FiOS here, multiple machines, devices and phones on this network and, predictably, my workstation is the only one having this issue. Thought maybe the motherboard embedded NIC drivers got updated so rolled them back - no difference. Thought maybe the same NIC was finally dying so got another - no difference. Thought maybe the drivers Microsoft installed for the new NIC weren't good enough or had issues so installed the manufacturer's drivers - no difference. Said to hell with it and did the "Network Reset" in Windows - no difference.

Kind of at my wit's end and I didn't have many to begin with, lol. I'd think something physical (wires, switch, NIC, etc.) might be the problem if the disable-reenable/reboot/VPN didn't work OR if I saw other devices being affected, but that's not the case. Can't pinpoint when it started happening either, but fairly sure it was at least a little while prior to 20H2 upgrade which I did maaaaaybeeeee five? Six weeks ago? I keep forgetting to see if I can access my NAS when this happens, dammit. Though I'm not sure what that would tell me...

    Anybody got any ideas?

No internet access every two and a half days...?

Guidance needed to setup my Home PC access over Internet through browser

I wasn't giving steps on how to get RDP working, that is covered plenty of other places, I just give the steps to make it secure.

RDP. If they aren't tracking your Web browsing, I doubt they are going to track RDP.

And if you start the session from the command prompt it doesn't even put the address in the MRU list.

Though the question that needs to be asked now is, what are you using for your VM lab?
